About the Nordic Embassy project:
In this collaborative interior design project, a team of six students embarked on the ambitious task of conceptualizing the layout and design of a multi-floor building, that is located in Qatar, Lusial, Boulevard. Each student selects a specific area to showcase their design prowess. My role in this project was to design and focus on crafting an exhibition space on the Fifth ground, dedicated to the Nordic Embassy.
Exhibition Design - Background information
This particular exhibition is not only a display of aesthetic and functional design principles characteristic of Nordic countries but also serves as a bridge connecting the cultural and diplomatic realms of the Nordic countries and Qatar. The relationship between the Nordic countries and Qatar is deeply rooted in mutual respect, trade, and the sharing of knowledge and cultural values. By designing an exhibition for the Nordic Embassy, the project highlights the symbiotic relationship between these regions, underscoring the importance of diplomacy, cultural exchange, and the role of design in fostering international relations. Through this exhibition, visitors are invited to explore the rich cultural tapestry and diplomatic ties that link the Nordic countries with Qatar, offering a unique insight into the collaborative potential between these distinct yet interconnected parts of the world.

The Scandinavian-inspired mood board and color scheme for the exhibition utilize white, light grey, and wooden material colors to create an inviting atmosphere.
